Pastor Michael Ramsey is the founding pastor of Coastal United Methodist Church and has been a resident of the area since 2005. He has been married to his beautiful wife Teressa for 20 years. Cherilyn and Anna are their two beautiful daughters. Teressa is a very gifted singer and teacher. Together they have shared the ministry for many years. Pastor Michael began his ministry working with both children and youth. He still has a deep passion for the hearts of God’s young people. Being a musician, Michael was attracted early on to the contemporary worship scene that was taking place in many churches. Shortly thereafter he joined the praise team at his local church. Over the years Michael has taken the initiative in putting together several dynamic worship teams with both excellent musicians and anointed singers. Above all, Pastor Michael’s love for God’s word is evident in his ability and desire to share and teach the simple message of faith, hope and love. God has given Michael a vision to reach the people of the Gulf Coast with the love of Christ, unending hope, and faith to move mountains.
